We ensure British Standards compliance in all our work incorporating BS7671 (2008) for electrical installations, BSEN62305 for lightning protection systems and verification, BS5839 for fire alarm installation and maintenance and BS5266 for emergency lighting.
ELECSA provides inspection, assessment and certification services to contractors working across the building services sectors.ELECSA is authorised to deliver the following schemes:
Part P for those contractors working with electrical installations in private dwellings
Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) for those contractors installing renewable technologies
Green Deal Installer scheme for those installing energy efficient products and technologies across the building services sector. BAFE approval schemes for contractors installing fire alarm and fire detection systems or those undertaking fire risk assessments
Achieving rigorous health and safety standards as demanded by our clients, SAFEcontractor carry out a detailed vetting process inspecting health and safety policies, method statements, risk assessments, completed work and insurance details, assuring clients of companies who bear their logo are of the very highest achievers in health and safety matters.
Electrical Safety Register
All electricians listed and permitted to display the mark are registered with an electrical Competent Person Scheme Operator, and have been authorised by Government to self-certify that their work is compliant with Building Regulations.
This means they meet strict entry requirements, their work is regularly assessed, demonstrating their ability and ongoing competence, and that it meets the correct standards.
